Abstract/Summary
This thesis, done through a short feature film, depicts how a person's self-worth depends on his/her physical appearance and how it affects his/her views on life. It focuses on an unlikely friendship that builds up between Mona, an adolescent frustrated of her appearance, and Tala, a child with an unusual outlook on life. In the course of the story, they both learn to appreciate themselves without having to pattern their appearances after what most people think is beautiful.
