Abstract/Summary

Centered around the concept of afterlife and estranged father-son relationships, Sundo aims to capture the essence of repairing connections within the family. The protagonist, Mark, has experienced an upsetting childhood due to the lack of father figure in his life. As he grows up, he begins to resent his father for being too negligent in taking care of his family. When his father, Emilio, passes away due to an illness, Mark unexpectedly meets an unfortunate fate and gets hit by a car. In his comatose state, he meets Emilio in a limbo who is in the process of fixing a broken car. Here the two discuss their differences and make amends with one another.
