Abstract/Summary
This thesis is a short feature film entitled Oyayi that revolves primarily around two main characters-- Andrew and his autistic older brother Charles. Their mother has died, and it states in her will that her whole inheritance will pass over to Andrew under the condition that Charles will be under his care. Accepting the conditions of his late mother, Andrew struggles to take care of his brother, whom he has grown to resent. Oyayi aims to portray humanistic and Filipino values of sibling love amidst stigmas that may serve to be a hindrance to their relationship.
