Abstract/Summary
Lapida is a short feature film about Joven, a poor gravedigger who encounters difficulty as he searches for a respectable burial spot for his mother.
Joven rents a coffin for the wake but, due to lack of funds, he can only have the coffin within a certain time frame. Within this time, he must look for a spot to bury his loved one without having to settle for any ordinary pauper's grave.
Lapida aims to provide the viewer with a rich, unique, film viewing experience that also addresses relevant issues in Philippine society.
