Abstract/Summary
KOHSAI-ISP is a 3-year information systems plan for Kohsai Corporation Phils. in San Pedro, Laguna. Information Systems Strategic Planning (ISSP) is used as a tool in the formulation of Kohsai-Information Systems Plan. In the course of the study, an analysis of the company's operations as well as the relationship between the company's resources and business processes is done to facilitate the identification of the information technology needs of the company under study. Towards the end of the study, recommendations scoping the proposed information systems are presented. This study recommends the development of the following information systems for Kohsai Corp. Phils.: Accounting IS, Sales IS, Production IS, Marketing IS, Inventory Management IS, Financial Management IS, Customer Service IS, and Human Resource IS. This study also aims to assist the management of Kohsai Corp. in achieving competitive advantage over its competitor in the rubber automotive parts industry.
