Abstract/Summary

Extended Student's Information System (EXSIS) is an Information System for the Student Affairs Office in De La Salle University. EXSIS embodies the whole of student activities system of the University. De La Salle University has (10) offices under the Student Personnel Services (SPS) that caters to the social, cultural, spiritual, intellectual, physical, and professional development of the student. College experiences are provided by the different offices and student organizations in manifesting the university's mission of developing students into well-rounded individuals, so that they may become Christian Achievers. The system extends the University's information resource by creating a base-line information source for student involvement. This information is used in curriculum planning, study of student outcomes, guidance and counselling, placement services, activity programming and in any activity which may depend on gathering information. EXSIS creates an Official Transcript of Involvement via centralized, consistent databases of students' involvement in the extra-curricular genre.
