Abstract/Summary
This project implements experimental training modules for the INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATIONS LABORATORY (INDELAB) Course. It consists of thirteen (13) laboratory experiments intended to supplement the theories introduced in the Industrial Electronics and Instrumentations (INDELIN) course. Among the devices included are SCRs, Triacs, UJT, and Relays. Also included are Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) and Digital-to-Analog Converter (DACs) for proper understanding of techniques in the conversion theory. Sensor systems consist of the Ultrasonic Wave System complete with Signal Conditioning and the LM335 Temperature Sensor for Temperature-Controlled Systems. Interfacing Concepts are introduced with a basic Interface Card using the 8255 PPI with software in Turbo Pascal. Aside from the hardware modules implemented, the project will also provide an instruction manual to guide the users in the realization of the experiments.
