Abstract/Summary
This thesis entitled Blood Typing using Image Processing will determine the blood type of a sample. Two samples of blood will be placed on a glass slide. One sample will automatically be added antibody A and the other antibody B by the system. Images of these blood samples will be recorded by a camera and then interfaced with a computer using a video blaster. The computer will then use image processing to compare the shading of the blood samples with a particular threshold value. Based on these comparisons made by the computer, the system will then be able to determine the blood type of the sample.
