The Hypertext-based Tourist Information System (HyperTIS) is primarily an experimental software. This system prototype is a practical application of hypertext on Philippine tourism. HyperTIS allows users to tap the substantial power of hypertext systems for browsing. Furthermore, the system does not only feature textual but also pictorial or graphical information.
