Abstract/Summary
The film revolves around the Ortega family going through a devastating time in their lives. The father and head of the household, Ruben, falls ill and the family is forced to give up everything important to them to try and keep him alive. Conflict ensues because of the family members' different priorities and their inability to let go of the past. Their faith is tested when despite all efforts made, Ruben still dies.
It is a story about relationships, religion and family sacrifice that aims to portray the strength and resilience of Filipino families.
