Abstract/Summary
An equipment that will demonstrate the process of humidification was developed. Wetted-wall column or falling-film columns have found applications in mass transfer problems when high heat transfer rate requirements are concomitant with the humidification process. Air-water system behavior has been extensively investigated from both the aspect of a vapor-phase controlling system and for developing design information for cooling tower and humidification systems. Studies were made of temperature, air flowrate and water flowrate effects on the over-all mass and heat transfer coefficients using the fabricated wetted-wall column
