Abstract/Summary

The De La Salle-Santiago Zobel School is a co-ed college preparatory school which aims to instill Lasallian teachings and Filipino values to its Prep, Grade School and High School students. As a step towards achieving this goal, DLSZ acknowledges the fact that it must utilize the latest technological innovations, the most popular of which is the Internet.

Upon the initial observation of the proponents on the needs of the School, they have assessed the necessity for DLSZ to have its own Internet Web Page to further the School's status as a dynamic and highly competitive educational institution. Moreover, DLSZ and the proponents believe that this Web Page will allow the School to communicate instantaneously with other Internet users world-wide.

For the construction of the DLSZ Web Page, the proponents used original text except for the DLSZ School Objectives and Information on Admissions. Most of the photographs utilized in the Web Page were taken by the proponents, while the rest were taken from the School archives and history books, along with the permission for its use. Necessary revisions were effected during the construction of the Web Page in order to suit the needs of the client organization. Consultations with the Thesis Adviser were likewise employed by the proponents to further improve the DLSZ Web Page. Totalling twenty-five (25) Pages, the Web Page is an online school profile providing basic information about DLSZ and its programs.

The proponents firmly believe that the De La Salle-Santiago Zobel School Web Page serves as a significant Lasallian information and interests source for Internet users all over the world. Besides providing on-line exposure, this Web Page also allows the School to avail of the latest communication technology and thus, fulfill its goal of providing top-calibre education to the young.
