Abstract/Summary

The development of computerized systems has played a key role in the society, affecting every aspect of daily life. Almost every business here in our country, whether small, medium, or large scale, has gone through computerizing its systems. With the fast advancement of technology, computerization of manual systems in the business sector has proven to be of great help and a reliable aid to the management of almost every business.In the local setting, most small businesses encounter difficulties in managing their accounts. The pioneers of Kaisahan Marketing Company, Inc. (KMCI) have realized the importance of computerizing the operations of its Sales and Purchasing divisions. Aside from the fact that operations are time-consuming with the present manual system, generation of reports and other pertinent information likewise take some time to accomplish. Furthermore, since some vital information are not readily available, the management's decisions are usually based on estimation and experience, which undeniably bring about inconsistencies and in accuracies.The company's manual information system does not provide the management information regarding the increase, decrease, or elimination of certain products.
