Abstract/Summary

The results of an audit on Earth Day Network Philippines' revealed that their communication strategies directed to their potential sponsors are very limited and insufficient in communicating sufficient knowledge on the NGO's advocacies, activities and achievements, which would supposedly let them gain understanding on EDNPI's organizational identity. This results to the lack of sponsors to fund EDNPI's programs. To address the problem, the proponents produced a Sponsor Kit and an organizational video for EDNPI, and performed an overall revamping of the EDNPI website. These projects present EDNPI's core advocacies, programs and achievements the benefits of being an EDNPI sponsor, and testimonies from current sponsors. An evaluation of these communication projects revealed that these materials are effective in communicating EDNPI's identity as corporations' partner in fulfilling their shared mission in protecting the environment the way that benefits both EDNPI and its sponsors.
