Abstract/Summary

The Los Banos Advocate of Animal Welfare Inc. (LB-AAW) is a non-profit and non-government organization that advocates for aspin adoption and responsible pet ownership. The organization rescues stray dogs, provides them with foster homes, and handles their adoption into loving households. Audits conducted on LB-AAW revealed that their communication process, such as how they reach their target public, what they communicate to potential adopters, etc., is lacking and could be improved. In response, interventions such as an adoption drive event, organizational manual, and social media revamp of the organization's Facebook page were implemented to improve how LB-AAW communicates successful adoption.
