Abstract/Summary

Ilaw ng Tahanan...Ilaw ng Bayan is a 12-minute video documentary that talks about the dual role a female politician plays as a mother and as a public servant. Based on the premise that being a politician is not a typical 9-5 job , the subjects talk about how their career has affected their family life. This is further explored by interviews with their family members. The subjects also discuss how they cope with various conflicts between work and the come.

The project was edited using the digital online non-linear editing format. The final material was dubbed in the U-matic and the VHS format.
