Abstract/Summary
ReflexES is an expert system in reflexology for AKSEM which aims to provide assistance to reflexologists in providing treatments and recommendations appropriate to the patient's complaint. Its recommendation includes the reflex points, the vitamins and supplements, the foods that need to be taken and activities that need to be done, the foods and activities that need to be avoided, and the treatment appropriate for the patient. Graphical representation of the reflex points and the techniques are provided to support the recommendation. ReflexES also includes the Reflexology Technique Module which provide the users with basic knowledge on reflexology and the basic techniques it employs. The Maintenance Module enables the knowledge base and databases to be modified. Through the system, the proponents seek to take part in the health program of AKSEM Reflexology Center in its goal to promote better health at a low cost and the natural way.
