Abstract/Summary
The game of soccer is a fascinating and challenging area of research when applied to autonomous robots engaged in adversarial situations, under uncertain and dynamic environments, working towards a specific goal. This paper explores the use of state diagrams for the robot's decision-making skills when confronted with various game situations. Likewise the concept of PID controls is analyzed for usage with the robot's position and angle functions. The group uses two main algorithms: one for the offensive and the other for the defensive strategies. When the robot is in its offensive mode, it undertakes the role of an active fielder and when it switches to its defensive mode, it then becomes an aggressive goalkeeper.
