Abstract/Summary

This study focused on the different ways aggression is expressed, ways of reducing/avoiding aggression, factors resulting in aggression, and the emotions and thoughts concerning the incident of aggression. Moreover, participants of this study came from four prestigious universities in Metro Manila namely: De La Salle University-Manila, University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University and University of Santo Tomas. Utilizing a descriptive-qualitative research design, the researchers conducted Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to obtain data. Referral sampling technique was employed to gather participants for the FGD. One (2) cluster per school with eight (8) to twelve (12) athletes took part in the discussion a total of eight (8) FGD's. The obtained data was qualitatively analyzed. Results show that there is in fact in-court aggression among Filiipina College athletes.
