Abstract/Summary
Executive Summary. In its continuing commitment to academic excellence, De La Salle University provides up-to-date facilities, well-defined curricula and a body of highly qualified faculty. However, it is not enough that the professors be competent in their fields. It is also important that the faculty recognizes the need for maximum contact hours with students in any course especially in the trimestral system.
As a means of maintaining faculty quality, as well as a system of control, which is vital in any organization, De La Salle implements the Faculty Attendance Monitoring System. However, no system is perfect thus, it is the purpose of this study to investigate the existing system for possible problem areas or areas for improvement.
