Abstract/Summary
This thesis project is a communication package aimed to improve the process of communication of home infusion (HIP) to members of HAPLOS Foundation and address the information and conveyance gaps observed during the audit based on an organizational communication theory on health literacy by Lanning and Doyle (2010). The project consisted of 1) a printed booklet brochure on HIP, 2) online interactive brochure, 3) complete lecture slides, and 4) a lecture and demonstration event with practice sessions on HIP. The communication package contained basic information, risks and benefits, a comprehensive step-by-step guide, and visual instructions in administering proper HIP.
