Abstract/Summary
The enhanced version of the Omniprobe system features the different functions of a digital multimeter and a three-traced oscilloscope. These two devices are interleaved to allow users use of the two devices at the same time. The features of the digital multimeter include an Ohmmeter, DC and AC Voltmeter, Milliammeter, Capacitance meter, Transistor and Diode checker. The Oscilloscope features a three channel capability to allow comparison of signals and the user can choose from the different oscilloscope functions on screen. This includes wave positioning, and horizontal and vertical zoom. The whole system (the hardware and software included) also allows the user to choose from an interleaved environment or an uninterleaved environment which means that he can use both devices at the same time or use both devices independently. Another feature also includes a digital readout for the equivalent frequency of a cycle of a particular wave and a voltage readout at any chosen point of each wave.
