Abstract/Summary
The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of developing the existing Busuanga Airport in Palawan. Historical data, current situation and design criteria of the airport were brought together to distinguish the various aspects of development. From there, a forecast of passenger, cargo and aircraft movement were constructed. The forecast showed an increasing trend on all passenger, cargo and aircraft movement of the airport. The results showed that passenger movement had increased by as much as two-hundred fifty percent and the cargo movement by almost three-hundred percent after a twenty-five year span. Also, the forecasted volume of passenger showed a new possible flight route from Korea to Busuanga.
