Abstract/Summary
This study was done to determine the effect of the different dosages of Pandanus amaryllifolius in reducing the weight and blood glucose levels based on the various amount of feeds to thirty male ICR mice. There was one control group and four treatment groups fed with varying dosages of pandan extracts mixed with their drinking water. Results show that the glucose levels of the mice decreased significantly at weeks 4 and 5 wherein higher dosages of pandan extracts were given. However, results show that there is no significant difference in the weight of the control and treatment groups.
