Abstract/Summary

Tapusan is a drama film, which is set in the province of Batangas during the month of May. The story focuses on Mamang and her grandson Yosef, who find solace in each other in the absence of significant loved one. Despite their clashing personalities, the two learned to compromise and welcome each other's differences. However, this blossoming relationship encounters a great challenge when the Canadian visa of the grandson is finally granted.

The story of their relationship is parallel to the festivities being held during the month of May in Taal, Batangas. The first rain of May marks the opening as it gives way to Flores de Mayo and Santa Cruzan the relationship of Lola Belen and Yosef also starts to build up. And just like the Tapusan, which marks the end of the celebration and is always being held during the last day of May, the budding relationship between Manang ang Yosef is about to face its end as well.

The main characters are Lola Belen and Yosef while the supporting characters are Esther and Moy.
