Abstract/Summary

This thesis is a partial exposition of the article written by Tijs, Branzei, Muto, Ishihara, and Fukuda [9]. We first introduced the basic concepts of cooperative games such as crisp, clan, and fuzzy games with their corresponding imputations, core and stable sets. Furthermore, fuzzy clan games, its properties and core were thoroughly analyzed and illustrated for young researchers to fully understand the importance and behavior of such games. The game was applied to a number of real-life situations to give a picture of how game theory can be beneficial in our society.
