Abstract/Summary
Make-A-Wish Philippines is the first and only non-profit wish granting foundation in the country. The foundation provides children with life threatening medical illnesses in hope for better times and happiness that each child deserves by granting their most ardent wish. Make-A-Wish Philippines has granted over 800 wishes since its inception in 1999. The foundation is ran by dedicated volunteers, tapped by the organization's vast network and funded by generous sponsors and donors. All of the foundation's funding is used to grant wishes within the Philippines.;"The Sponsor Kit created for Make-A-Wish Philippines contains information about the foundation, testimonials, why and how to help, contact information, as well as a feedback form. The sponsor kit was created as an answer to the need of the foundation to let its target public-especially to its current and potential sponsors gain more awareness regarding the foundation. With the gained awareness and better understanding of the foundation, it is hoped that in the long run, help given to the foundation will increase, specifically by sponsors and donors."
