Abstract/Summary
My Father's House is a non-profit, child caring organization serving abandoned, neglected, and orphaned children. A major communication problem the organization had was the lack of their community's awareness towards their vision, mission, and objectives. To solve this communication problem, the researchers organized a benefit concert.
The benefit concert was entitled Unity in Rhythm. it was held last March 29, 2011, at the Insular Life Auditorium, Filinvest Corporate City. The target audience for the benefit concert were communities surrounding My Father's House, specifically BF East Phase 6, BF Executive, Alabang Hills, Pacific Malayan, Kalipayan, Alabang 400, and Hillsborough. Based from the different success indicators such as attendance figures, guest enjoyment level, revenues, and action of the audience after the concert, it was proven that the benefit concert was the appropriate communication tool to make the target audience aware of the organization's identity.
