Abstract/Summary

The purpose of this study is to see if there will be a difference in the Global Self-esteem of adolescent swimmers under different coaching styles. Both quantitative and qualitative research designs were used in this study. There were 21 coach participants who answered the "what is your coaching style questionnaire" and 105 adolescent swimmers who answered Rosenberg Self-esteem scale. Using a one-way ANOVA in the quantitative part of the study, the results showed that there is no significant difference. But this data during the qualitative part, the researchers were able to make two clusters, the internal factors that affect the swimmer's self-esteem and the External factors that affect the swimmer's self-esteem.
