Abstract/Summary
This PR plan aims to attract students to participate in the La Salle Provincialate's (LSP) Lasallian Volunteer Program (LSVP) through proposed strategies and tactics such as short-term activities and tie-ups with student organizations to incease the students' awareness about LSVP. These serve as trial activities and preparatory programs for the organization's one-year volunteer program in order to build a positive image for LSVP. It identifies which publics in Grunig's Situational Theory of Publics are present in DLSU-Manila. In-depth interviews were conducted on 15 students who qualified in our purposive sampling. Interview results were analyzed through theme alaysis, which revealed latent, aware, and active publics are present in DLSU-Manila. It also revealed that students have considerations and preferences that affect their decision to participate in a volunteer activity.
