Abstract/Summary
The preparation by spreading of pastes and characterization of Ruthenium doped BSCCO films has been studied. XRD analysis revealed the presence of low-Tc and high-Tc was found in the sample with nominal composition BiSr2Ca2Cu2.7Ru0.3)y. This sample was sintered in air at 870 centigrade for 48 hours. Electrical resistivity measurement of this sample showed zero resistivity at Tc 100 K and a transition width (ATc) of about 20 K. SEM analysis of this sample showed flake-like structures with small grains on top of the flakes.
