Abstract/Summary
This study aimed to determine the level of emotional intelligence and leadership styles of De La Salle University-Manila student leaders. A total of 78 student leaders were obtained. A non-probability sampling was used in choosing the respondents. The instruments used in this study are Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Ability Evaluation. Data gathered was analyzed using descriptive statistics and correlational techniques. Findings show that emotional intelligence level of De La Salle University-Manila student leaders is high. Out of the 20 scales, 13 scales belonged to the upper two zones while seven belongs to the lower two zones. Most exercised leadership styles were democratic cooperative and autocratic-aggressive.
