Abstract/Summary
An instructional software tool for the Intel 8086/8088 microprocessor which would serve as supplement for laboratory experiments and discussion is developed.
The software focuses on the experiments for the said subject. Each experiments presented using both text and graphics. A simple simulation tool is provided for the user using Window's Graphical User Interface (GUI). With this tool, the access to the software is easier and faster. The software also allows the user to interface a hardware to the PC and control the hardware with the use of the instructional software. A LED/stepper motor module is provided together with the software tool. In this module, the input and output byte can be displayed. The module will be use for the stepper motor simulation.
