A city hall is considered to be one of the most vital organizations in a certain municipality. It performs tasks such as maintaining peace and order, approving ordinances, providing legal assistance, developing plans and strategies for the benefit and well being of the community, issuing certified transcripts and documents and the filing and preserving of records. Most importantly, a City Hall serves as a representation of the city in all business transactions and sign on its behalf of all bonds, contracts and obligations.

The web's tremendous capabilities will enable Pasay City Hall to disseminate information with speed, accuracy and efficiency thus, allowing them to be more productive. The web will also allow the City Hall of Pasay to provide its people with improved accessibility of information. Such information made available online through the Internet will allow the public to save both time and effort.

The main objective of the proponents is create a web site that will assist the City Hall of Pasay in the distribution of information that will be useful and essential to the public. the web site will make it possible for the public to access the information that they need with much ease and with less time and effort.

The Pasay City Hall web site will provide its audience with information such as the requirements and procedures for getting documents like certificates and permits, updates on the latest developments in Pasay, and a directory of the personnel-in-charge for each of the different departments as well as the services that it offers.
