Abstract/Summary
Our thesis is about Kidlat Tahimik, an independent filmmaker. The documentary depicts this filmmaker's lifestyle, ideals and philosophies that lead to the creation of his multi-awarded films. It is a 20-minute productions on VHS format using non-linear editing. It consists of a series of interviews with Kidlat Tahimik, excerpts from his films like Mababangong Bangungot, Turumba, and Bahag Ko Mahal Ko a thirty second music video of the documentary making process footage of live performances by Kidlat Tahimik and a series of talks on alternative filmmaking made by him. The documentary ends.
