Abstract/Summary
Nag-aalinlangang Ina is a 22-minute video documentary about pregnant women residing in a maternity home. Melba and Maryrose , the subjects in the documentary, narrate their lives as they decide whether to keep their child or give him up for adoption, and as they cope with the struggles of being unwed mothers. This documentary likewise reveals the unseen life inside a maternity home. This documentary was shot with a Hi-8 camera, edited in Betacam format and transferred to U-matic format. The Filipino language was used in the narration and interviews. With this documentary, the proponents intend to arouse compassion for unwed mothers and share with the viewers the miracle of life.
