Abstract/Summary
Lungs and Trachea of three freshly killed snakes obtained from Amoy Kitchenette, Ongpin St., Binondo, Manila were examined for the presence of pentastomids. Ninety one pentastomids of various sizes were collected from the lungs and trachea of the snakes observed. Based on the main morphological structures namely the claws, mouth, glands of claws, penetration gland and two apical projections, all the pentastomids examined belonged to genus Raillietiella.
