Abstract/Summary
This project involves a study of certain communication characteristics peculiar to the Apple II microcomputer and the PDP-11/34 minicomputer. The Apple is connected to the PDP-11 with the use of an Apple Communications Interface Card.Programs that take into account these characteristics were designed to make maximum use of increased processing capabilities provided by the micro-mini link. Such programs include file-transfer programs which work in both directions (PDP-11 to Apple and vice versa), batch utility programs in the microcomputer and a facility for interactive access of PDP-11 files by Apple programs.
