Abstract/Summary

This study is a materials development for a supplementary reading materials on adolescent sexuality for Filipino middle-income high school students. This concept was brought about by the seeming downward change in the morality that the target group project. The topics included in the reading material were arrived at by conducting a needs analysis test wherein the misconception of 120 students were gathered. Likewise, the test proved that the target group needed to know about the eight topics of sexuality chosen for this study. Specific questions that the respondents needed to be answered as well as the Filipino word they use for given English sexual words were gathered. The reading material, which comes in twenty-four pages, with illustrations in a question-and-answer format, was evaluated. The results of this evaluation revealed that the readers were able to comprehend and retain the information provided in the reading material after one day of exposure to it.
