Abstract/Summary
This paper reports on twelve species of mosses found in selected areas of Concepcion, Marikina and Noveleta, Cavite from the period of September to November 1992. The species identified are Barbula javanica, Braunfelsia dicranoides, Bryum coronatum, Calymperes tenerum, Fissidens robinsonii, F. schmidii, involuta, H. rosea, Plagiotheciopsis philippinensis and Thamnium negrosense. Morphological characteristics of each species are given. Environmental factors (air temperature, light intensity, relative humidity) that were recorded registered to have a range of 26.08 centigrade to 30.17 centigrade for temperature 76.17 percent to 94.33 percent for relative humidity and 550 to 2356.66 footcandles for light intensity.
