Abstract/Summary
A hematologic survey of blood samples for Babesia infection from 200 cows of the Dalisay Farms in Dasmarinas, Cavite was done. All 200 cattle belonging to Brahman, hybrid and local breeds yeilded negative findings for babesiosis. Our findings may be attributed to the strict implemetation of quarantine procedures with regard to the importation of cattle and to the excellent cow maintainance procedures of the Dalisay Farms at Dasmarinas, Cavite.
