Abstract/Summary
Mums is a story of how two sad and heartbroken individuals found each other through a matchmaking event. Kate recently lost her parents in an accident and was feeling lonely. Carlos, who was left by his fiance months before the wedding, was feeling broken and lonely as well. His friends sign him up in a matchmaking event where he meets Kate. As they know more about each other, they unravel secrets from the past that they knew before but forgot because of circumstances. A necklace changes their relationship and both of them find the healing and happiness that they were missing when they first met. This screenplay aims to cater to young adults ages 18-25, who use dating applications.
