It discusses the psychological effects that may manifest in raising a trans child and, in turn the effects of their parents way of raising them. This entails how important family support is in creating a life for their trans children because of how society perceives the trans community. Being that the LGBTQ+ community is yet to be fully accepted, there are limitations that both the parent and the child may have difficulties in facing. Furthermore, the article series showcased how the relationship between the parent and the child promote mental and emotional stability on both parties through the various obstacles that they any encounter.

The article series features profiles of the parents discussing their experiences in raising a trans child and the various changes and/or challenges that they have faced throughout the process. With the usage of psychological theories such as attachment. Queer and transgender theories, it will enable a much deeper understanding on the part of the parents, and the effects that it manifests in the course of raising their children.
