Abstract/Summary

Itty bitty titty committee and other essays is an undergraduate creative nonfiction thesis that features a collection of personal essays centering on the female psyche. In the collection, the writer shares anecdotes on the defining moments in her life growing up from stories about her mother in the kitchen, her embarassing nightmares from high school, and even her relationship with her hair. With a diverse selection of writings on love, coming of age, body image, family, pain, memories, and many more, the writer and persona of the essays takes the reader to an array of events in her life that contributed to her growth not only as an indiviudal, but as a woman as well.
