Abstract/Summary

The proponent will implement an attendance system that would solve the time and paper consumption as well as the inaccuracy of the traditional attendance system. The proposed system would utilize the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology as this will serve as the attendance of the students. By scanning the RFIP tags to the RFID readers in the subject rooms, Science and Technology Research Center (STRC) Room 111 and thesis room, the data read will be automatically saved to the attendance database. The system will generate a report, noting whether the students are present, late or absent depending on the time they scanned the RFID tags. Through the website, the administrator would be able to view and manage the attendance reports created for each of the subject room.
