This paper examines the relationship between anxiety and self-perceived performance of DLSU Athletes (Individual and Team Sports). It focuses on the three components of anxiety which are somatic, cognitive and self-confidence. Included is a discussion on the theoretical under spinning and how it relates to performance. Suggestions for future research and practical considerations are listed in conclusion.
