Abstract/Summary
The paper is in two parts the first explores the various aspects of a three-episode teleplay from the standpoint of its origins, applications, and suitability as an alternative format to the teleserye miniseries and films made for TV which are the staples of Philippine television programming. The second part is a model three-episode teleplay which is designed to pilot the concept for purposes of determining its viability and acceptability to Filipino audiences.
