Abstract/Summary

Lego and lego modeling had been known and used by people worldwide in developing their creativity and imagination. Lego has designed their products to suit the consumer's age to fully enhance their building skills. However the availability of Lego parts limits user to build Lego models. This led to the development of Lego CAD software that offers limitless access to the amount of Lego bricks and pieces that can be used for construction.

Mesh-Guided Lego Model Synthesis (MGLMS) is a Lego CAD software that uses 3D mesh to guide the user in building the Lego model. Polygonal Approximation is then used to construct the Lego model out of the available parts and pieces in its library.

This research aims to extend the MGLMS by incorporating movable Lego parts in the system's library and use them for construction. A 3D mesh will be used as a guide in building the Lego model. The model will be built according to the available parts in the system's library. This research wiill include dynamic Lego parts that will be included in the system's library and can be used for construction.
