Abstract/Summary

This collection of essays is a discussion on the different elements that influence Philippine fashion under the lens of fashion theory. It focuses on how fashion as an art form is used to express both personal and public identities. The analysis is presented using the tropes of creative non-fiction in order to relate the theoretical conclusions with the personal insights of the writer in order to reach a wider audience.
