Abstract/Summary
There are about 14 million indigenous peoples in various communities in the Philippines. Their socio-economic, cultural and political lives are influenced by the Christian faith. The proponent aimed to document Philippine indigenous communities influenced by Christianity in a series of photos. The proponent captured the everyday life of the selected indigenous communities as well as socio-cultural events related to the Christian faith and development. Despite the influence of modernization that came with the evangelism of Christianity, the communities somehow retained their identities as indigenous people.
